Sunny & Nate
We’re Sunny and Nate—the husband-and-wife team behind The Live Sketch Co., offering hand-painted guest portraits that bring artistry, intention, and an elevated presence to weddings and events across New England.
Nate is a classically trained illustrator and graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, a published graphic novelist, and an experienced storyboard artist whose career spans film, television, and advertising.
Sunny is a documentary-style wedding photographer drawn to natural moments and genuine connection, building her career around capturing authentic scenes with a refined, artistic eye.
Together, we started The Live Sketch Co. to combine our creative worlds and bring a fine art approach to live portraiture.
Our signature style is elegant, minimal, and full of character, blending the fluidity of gesture drawing with the refinement of fashion illustration. Each piece is created with flowing ink lines and soft watercolor washes, with features suggested just enough to feel timeless and expressive.
