We recently had the pleasure of collaborating with Boston Planners Dining Club for one of their signature industry dinners, hosted at Sugar Factory Boston in their private event space. The evening brought together an inspiring group of wedding creatives from across the Boston area for an elevated, festive pink–themed dinner.
As part of the experience, The Live Sketch Co. was invited to provide ink and watercolor guest portraits for attendees throughout the evening. It was the perfect environment to showcase how live wedding guest portraits can elevate events beyond the traditional reception setting.

A Thoughtfully Designed Evening for Boston Wedding Professionals
Hosted in the private event space at Sugar Factory Boston, the dinner was designed as an intimate gathering for wedding planners and creative professionals to connect and celebrate the artistry behind their work. The festive pink theme brought a playful energy to the space while still feeling polished and intentional, a balance that felt especially fitting for this creative crowd.
The event was planned by Tammy Golson, whose thoughtful approach and creative vision were evident throughout the evening. From the cohesive color palette to the overall flow of the night, every detail contributed to an atmosphere that felt welcoming, elevated, and inspiring.
Live Ink & Watercolor Guest Portraits During the Event
Throughout the evening, The Live Sketch Co. created custom ink and watercolor portraits for attending planners and creatives. Guests stepped in briefly for a reference photo, allowing them to return to the dinner and conversation while their portrait was illustrated live on-site.
The response from guests was overwhelmingly positive. Many were excited to watch the portraits come to life and delighted to take home a personalized piece of artwork from the evening. The portraits quickly became a highlight of the dinner, sparking conversation and adding a thoughtful, art-forward touch to the experience.
